About Wright Pump
Wright Pump was
founded in 1996 with the mission to provide superior service,
competitive pricing, and the highest quality pump products. It's senior
leadership team was comprised of a group of people who had held key positions at
another leading circumferential piston pump manufacturer.
Wright Pump's focus was dedicated to solving the pumping problems of food, beverage, biotech and pharmaceutical manufacturers worldwide.
Application of the group's knowledge, expertise and capability lead to
Wright Pump manufacturing quality drop-in replacement parts that meet or
exceed original equipment specifications for the Waukesha Universal I
and II series pumps. That success motivated them to begin building their
own circumferential piston pumps, the TRA10 and TRA20 series. These
pumps are functionally and dimensionally interchangeable with the
Waukesha Universal I and II series pumps, providing end user customers
with the right alternative.
One key element to their continued
circumferential piston pump success has always been the Wright Pump foundry which pours the non-galling "808" stainless alloy, critical to the close-clearance operation required of circumferential piston pumps.
Quality is built-in from the smelting process through to the finish pump
assembly built by craftsmen, that delivers to your facilities. In late
2005, Wright Pump extended its sanitary product line through the addition
of a new family of ultra-pure centrifugal pumps, the TRA400 series,
positioning them in a leadership position in the global
sanitary, pharmaceutical, and biotech industries. Wright Pump is now the single source for high-purity
fluid handling hygienic applications.
The new TRA400 series of centrifugal pumps
are available in five models. Each pump is
machined from 316L stainless steel, or other high quality alloy bar and plates.
The TRA400 series' innovative Softsterile™ flushing system (patent pending)
for double-seal flushing eliminates the difficult-to-inspect external piping common
to all other high-purity centrifugal pumps. The Softsterile system marks a
significant technological advance in the art of high-purity pump design because
it eliminates the need for multiple connections, gaskets, elbows, bent tubes,
and compression fittings that can be sources of contamination, misalignment and
gasket extrusion, and thus compromise process purity and reliability.
